iDo Wedding Couple Edition 9.0 was released on March 7, 2007.

iDo 9.0 - Full Installation can be found at:

iDo 9.0 - Update can be found at:

We did not add many features to this version but we did make it Vista compatible.  Also, all of our programs will be 'signed' with our code signing certificate to show authenticity.  Now when you run an installation you will see our name 'Elm Software LLC' when the computer prompts you to run the installation.

We are working on version 10 and do not yet have a timeframe established for its completion.  Please provide your feedback and thoughts as to what you would like to see in the next version...we greatly appreciate your feedback.

Thanks for update.

One possible suggestion is the ability to sort Contacts by those we created an invitation (even if we did not send yet).

Thanks.

We are working on a new table layout program at the present moment...I will try to do an update to iDo in the next couple of months...no date has been set.

Your suggestion of including a 'male/female' setting in Contacts is on our todo list and will be included in our next version...please continue to write your thoughts/suggestions...we appreciate it very much.

We are looking into upgrading our budget section and possibly adding the calendar control that you saw in the iDo Professional.

Thank you for your comments.
We are working on a new program at the moment...after that...we will work on our updates to both versions of iDo.

Please tell me any other items that you see in the professional that you would like to see in the couple edition.

Under version 8 I was able to use multiple logons on xp.  When I up graded to version 9 I can use the program but my wife to be can not.  It asks for the product key.  The only one that I had was the version 8 key and it will not work to let her use the program

Features from Pro Version that I'd like to see added:
  • Budget system (Estimated, Scheduled, Paid, Remaining) and the way its categorized
  • Templates for people to see and use for themselves.
  • Notebook (as a widget possibly)
  • Offline Help System
And a few features that I thought of:
  • Scroll Wheel Compatibility
  • Back/Forward/Nav Buttons when in Forums view
  • Implement a Backup/Recover feature built into the GUI with multiple options
    • Option 1: Backup to External Device (selectable through a browse to folder window
    • Option 2: Backup to a folder on the local HD (either in My Documents, iDo's Folder, or something else that you guys determine)
    • Make sure the backup is in format of "iDo.elmdata DD-MM-YYYY HH-MM-SS.bak" to prevent overwriting older backups
Thanks again.

Suggestion: Make it possible to assign a gift to more than 1 contact (in case you don't have an invitation or if the invitation includes more than is necessary).
